Gypsy Scams or Fortune Teller Scams use a cold reading in which generic statements are said by the gypsy. The victim’s reaction to these generic comments gives the gypsy or fortune teller what to elaborate on. After the gypsy gains the victim’s confidence they ask for money for blessed candles. As the scam progresses the gypsy scam grows bigger and the victim is asked for additional funds to resolve the bad spirits. It will grow bigger and bigger, the gypsy will eventually mention using her church to assist and more funds will be needed to pay for this. The gypsy will really put on a good show. She will tell you that even though the evil spirits surround her victim, she is stronger than the spirits and will take the case, but of course it will cost you. The gypsy scams have driven people into bankruptcy, because the scam uses a brain washing effect. Also when the victim tries to leave the gypsy and her so called work, the gypsy will threaten to unleash evil spirits on the victim. have you ever been scammed by gypsies or have had a friend that has been scammed?
